The Castle Rock Center for the Arts is a community outreach project of the First United Methodist Church which seeks to Embrace Diversity, Enrich Community, Encourage Creativity, and Enhance Lives through the discovery of the Arts.
Who we are
The Castle Rock Center for the Arts was founded by a group of individuals who saw an opportunity to connect to the community through the creative expression of art. The focus of our classes is to create a meaningful relationship with the students as they are guided through their individual and group creative process. All programs are instructed by professional and amateur artists from the local community.
The Center for the Arts is dedicated to not only providing diverse lessons and classes, but we are very involved in promoting health and wellness and encouraging an atmosphere that builds individual self confidence. Our programs are designed to encourage involvement of our students through teamwork, family support and finacial support as needed.
We are a non-profit organization providing the community the opportunity to excel in the visual, performing, language arts, and health and wellness. The success of the Center and its programs can be directly attributed to amazing individuals and community partners in the Castle Rock region.
